A man was spotted wearing only a pair of grey boxers to pick up some shopping at the Sainsbury’s in Tufnell Park on Tuesday evening (8 March).
Jonathan Norris, who works in the fishmongers next door, told Islington Now he couldn’t remember what the man bought because he was “mostly worried about where he kept his money”.
Mr Norris said: “He walked past my shop like that in the freezing rain and straight into Sainsburys next door.
“When I saw him stroll past the shop I just though: ‘Blimey’.”
The reason the man was almost naked remains unclear.
