Football

It is a busy week for football fans. Arsenal will be playing against Chelsea in the Premier League this Sunday, with many local league games also going on. AFC Islington First will be facing CF Phoenix in Camden Sunday Football League. Phoenix won their first championship in Sunday League last year – can AFC Islington stop them from flying high again?

If you love local football games and are free on weekdays, do not miss the Islington Midweek Football League’s premier division next Tuesday. Blue Ruskin Park Rovers will be competing against Hilltop Midweek, which hope to secure a second victory this month.

  • Premier League: 16 March (1:30pm), Emirates Stadium
  • Camden Sunday Football League: 16 March 2025, Hackney North Marsh, E9 5PF
  • Islington Midweek Football League: 18 March (8pm), Market Road Football Pitch 1, N7 9PL

Puppy Yoga

What’s better than stretching your body with cute puppies? Puppy Yoga London holds puppy yoga classes in Angel every Saturday, and your therapists this week are labradoodles! You do not need to bring your own dogs but you must sanitise your hands and remove all footwear. The puppies receive 30 minutes of undisturbed sleep per session, to make sure they are happy and healthy. Book a ticket on Puppy Yoga’s website on Thursday if you are interested.
