The Stone Roses have announced they are to play three UK gigs next year, two of which will be in Finsbury Park, on 7 and 8 June. They will be the first major London shows the band has played since reforming in 2011.

Sales begin tomorrow, and tickets are expected to go quickly – the band’s Manchester shows this summer were the fastest selling UK tour dates in history.

Finsbury Park has hosted the likes of Jimi Hendrix, Oasis, and Bob Dylan in past years.
