Police get stoned

A police car’s windscreen was smashed by a rock thrown from the back of a moped late Monday night, injuring one of the officers inside.

Police said their vehicle was travelling at around 20 mph when the incident happened, but could not comment on the speed of the moped. Both officers were able to return to work a few hours later. Islington MPS tweeted afterwards: “Our poor car”.
