Islington, Hackney and Haringey councils have outlined their ambitious vision for Finsbury Park’s town centre.
The 60-page supplementary planning document claims that the area is in dire need of regeneration and details how the councils hope to attract shoppers and their money to the area.
Additionally, TfL is introducing new ticket barriers at Finsbury Park station, preventing pedestrians from using the station as cut-through even though this carries a risk of reducing trade to nearby shops.
