Reality TV star Kim Kardashian stunned an audience in Australia after wearing a latex outfit created by a Holloway Road fetish designer.

Never one to shy away from controversy, the star wore the skin-tight £274 Atsuko Kudo latex top and pencil skirt to promote her new perfume Fleur Fatale in Melbourne.

She posted a photo of her outfit on Instagram and credited the Islington shop for its creation, which sparked international coverage in the press.

The couture brand was founded in 2001 and specialises in latex fetish wear. Its mantra is “Feminine, Beautiful and Strong.”

Atsuko Kudo shop assistant Katie Carruthers described Ms Kardashian as “lovely”. The star came across the shop as it is popular with her fellow celebrities.

“She had seen our stuff worn by Kate Moss, Rhianna, and Katy Perry, and just got in touch with us,” Mr Carruthers said.

The star previously shopped at Atsuko Kudo for a body suit which she wore at this year’s GQ awards.

The fetish label has also provided outfits for celebrities such as Lady Gaga, Dita Von Teese, Madonna, Eva Mendes and Janet Jackson.

On its profile on Instagram, the studio posts pictures of its outfits and of its famous clients:
