Police and relatives have described the recent disappearance of a newly qualified Highbury barrister as “extremely out of character”.
23-year-old Gianni Sonvico, originally from Pembrokeshire in Wales, was last seen at 11pm on Friday 25 October leaving Tower Hill tube station, wearing a black suit and purple shirt.
Dave Hutchinson, detective chief inspector with Islington police, said: “His mother, who lives in Wales and spoke to him on a regular basis, has had no contact with him since Friday night. This is extremely out of character and we are very concerned.
“Gianni is also an avid Arsenal fan but it doesn’t appear he went to the match at Crystal Palace at the weekend.”
Mr Sonvico’s sister, Maya Sonvico, has released a video appeal on YouTube to help find the missing Queen Mary University graduate.
In the video, she says: “Gianni made it clear to friends that he was heading back to the Arsenal area. If anyone has any information, no matter how small it seems, please contact the police.”
Days before he went missing, Mr Sonvico, who uses Twitter regularly, tweeted:
Had a fantastically frantic day at work. Absolutely relishing the level of responsibility and pressure. Now time for wine and sleep.

A Facebook appeal has attracted support from more than 1,500 people.
