Finsbury Health Centre campaigners to picket NHS offices

Campaigners fighting the sale of Finsbury Health Centre will picket a meeting by health chiefs tomorrow morning.

Save Finsbury Health Centre protesters will picket the NHS Islington PCT offices on Goswell Road from 8.30 am before a meeting of the executive board at 9.30 am.

The board was due to vote on the findings an investigation by Islington Council’s health scrutiny committee on the sale of the Grade I-listed building. However, the PCT’s chief executive Rachel Tyndall has ruled out the presentation of the investigation.

The meeting will be discussing proposals for a polyclinic in south Islington.
