Emily Thornberry DJs at Sadiq Khan fundraiser

Emily Thornberry was spotted trying her hand at DJing in a club in Vauxhall last night.

The Islington South MP spun a few tunes at Vauxhall Tavern while attending a Labour fundraiser for mayoral candidate Sadiq Khan.

The public reacted positively when the evening’s secret headliner was announced:

Though some attendees were a little taken aback to see the Shadow Secretary of State for Defence take to the wheels of steel:

But Twitter was ablaze with praise for the politician, with London Assembly member Tom Copley describing Emily as a “superstar DJ”.

The crowd at the LGBT Labour-organised event were clearly impressed:

And the name of the evening that provoked Ms Thornberry’s unexpected career change? ‘Khan’t Get You Out Of My Head’.
