- Vinyl Bunnies, headed by a female DJ double-act Dellores & Tracey, will be bringing Latin, Rare Groove, Funk, and “a big dose of Classy Disco” to Grow.

London-based female singer-songwriters Carmy Love, Emily Peschiera, Eve Garland and Daisy will take over the Hope and Anchor pub to mark International Women’s Day, in support of Solace Woman’s Aid. The charity provides various services for women and children in London, including accommodation, counselling, and sexual assault support.

CHILL: Bold, Brave, Wonder Women of Islington Celebration

Hosted by Islington4Women, this event is an opportunity for women of all ages and backgrounds to mark International Women’s Day with an evening of music, poetry, and storytelling. Drinks and canapes will also be served.

WATCH: ‘Date with –’ an original play to celebrate International Women’s Day
Young Actors Theatre, Islington
The perfect play to watch with your girlfriends, Date With – tells the story of three roommates – Rachel, Alex and Becky – as one of them gets ready for a date. As the evening progresses, the audience becomes privy to an honest, liberating, and poignant conversation about sexuality, femininity, and trauma.
The play has been written and directed by Ines Cherkaoui along with Giulia Maglione, who also stars in the production. The show will be interspersed with powerful monologues and short videos.
