While covering a hip-hop event last week, one of Islington Now’s reporters put himself forward when organisers requested an audience member to join a few dancers on stage.
But we weren’t quite expecting what happened next. Michael was treated to an aggressive performance while two dancers twerked in front of him, grinded against him and also jumped on him.
While the video we took has already been seen over 215,000 times, we’ve decided to explain the event through a series of animated images. Enjoy (possibly NSFW depending on your workplace):
1. Michael really had no idea what was about to happen. Just look at how awkward he looked.
2. But he definitely thought he was ready.
3. And yes, that is him wearing a velvet blazer. “And what?”
4. But he definitely wasn’t ready. Look at him move back.
5. But it didn’t take long for him to get into the spirit of things.
6. So we’ve watched this 1000 times and still don’t know what this is (but LOL at the man holding him so he doesn’t fall).
7. But it got really weird, really fast.
8. And we’re a little scared of asking what was going through Michael’s head at this point.
9. The first dancer was replaced by another and told him to get on the floor.
10. There were definitely some, um, impressive skills on display.

13. She left him alone and he looked relieved when he thought it was over.
14. But it wasn’t over. Not even close.

18. And then they just started to all out mock him.
19. But despite the pain, Michael took it well, much to the pleasure of the audience.
