Theatre: Mrs Roosevelt Flies To London
Alison Skilbeck wrote and performs this one woman show, at the King’s Head theatre on Upper Street for just two nights only. It tells the little known story of Eleanor Roosevelt, wife of wartime American President Franklin Roosevelt, coming to London to rally the weary British troops. Uplifting and heartbreaking, it tells the tale of the triumph of the human spirit.
