Luigi travelled all the way from Sicily to attend the Islington Italian Fair. He has written the first ever guide to napkin-folding which is aimed at dyslexic people and those for whom English isn’t their first language.

He has also designed a special napkin arrangement in the shape of the Olympic torch for the London Olympics, but so far has not heard back from the Mayor about it.

  1. wow that’s so cool, you made it it look real easy. where can i get a copy of luigis book?. mac

  2. The author of this article is unintentionally being slightly misleading when saying that the book is aimed at the dyslexic market – Luigi, because English is not his first language knows how difficult it can be to use a reference book and for this reason he did something new and exciting with his book, The Language of Napkin Folding. The aim of the book was to explain how to do the folds, without words by means of beautifully worked out and easy to follow diagrams. This means that anyone, whatever their Nationality can understand the diagrams and for anyone who struggles to interpret the written word (for example, those with dyslexia) this book has a Language that they too can understand.

  3. As an addition to my previous comment, I should mention that I am no relation to Georgia Graham credited with the photograph accompanying the article about Luigi. Also, if you want to see more napkin folding by Luigi (filmed by myself), you can find them on YouTube – there are napkin folds for the Bride and Bridegroom and also a Halloween fold, the Count Dracula!!!!

  4. Despite the problem of the language, and may be language used by Luigi, he is a very professional man, full of enthusiasm and very skilled in the art of Napkin folding. Gian paolo Fanchini

  5. To answer Mac’s request.
