It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas as Mildmay Community Centre welcomes its first winter fair next month.

Mildmay Community Centre will be hosting its first winter fair loaded with gift stalls and food & drinks on Saturday, 16 December. Visitors will also be able to try various activities including games, art workshops, and live performances.

All the proceeds from the fair are going to the centre’s smaller projects such as children’s after school arts club and the centre’s elders club.

Lilly, one of the event organisers, highlighted that the winter fair is more about “fun” than fundraising as they want to bring the community together.

“Our planned activities reflect our work in the community centre as we do all of the activities over the week,” she said.

The winter fair will take place from 1pm to 9pm on Saturday, 16 December – their entrance fee is 50p. See more details here
