How to Stay Motivated on No Smoking Day

In case you didn’t know, today is the 34th annual No Smoking Day in the UK! It’s a day of health awareness for those who are on their journey towards breaking the habit for good.

Smoking is a huge problem in London. According to statistics from the British Heart Foundation, London has 1.1 million smokers. What’s more troubling, is that over 1000 Londoners are admitted to hospital for smoking related diseases each week.

This problem is even more pronounced in Islington: 22% of adults in the borough smoke regularly, making it one of the boroughs with the highest smoking rate.
