The win ended Spurs’ 27-game run without a defeat and the Gunners will face Birmingham City in the quarter finals.
Dutch international midfielder Danielle van de Donk scored a hat-trick, the highlight being a deft backheel in the 59th minute.
This year’s final will take place at Wembley for the third year running and the club’s 1-0 victory against Chelsea drew a record 33,000 attendance.
Striker Danielle Carter scored a brace and Beth Mead also was on the scoresheet on her debut following her transfer from Sunderland in January.

Arsenal Ladies Twitter account declared that “North London is red” following the thumping in front of a bumper crowd of 1,407.
The side will now take part in the WSL Spring Series which will begin on 22 April and Arsenal’s campaign will begin with a home match against Notts County, who finished sixth last season.
The WSL Spring Series is a mini-league that has been organised to bridge the gap between the Women’s Super League’s switch from a summer league to a winter league, which will allow vital pre-tournament preparation before the Euros this summer.
