THE final three members of an Archway gang convicted for their role in a fatal attack on a man on a Holloway estate were sentenced at the Old Bailey last week.
Jamie Farrell, 26, from Hornsey, Tyson Mason-Riley, 20, of Holloway and an 18 year-old who cannot be named for legal reasons were given between 18 months and two years for violent disorder for their part in the attack.
Andrew Jaipaul, 21, an aspiring fashion designer, was chased into a children’s play area and fatally stabbed 25 times in the head, chest and legs on the Andover estate in July by members of the ‘Busy Block’.
He was mistaken for a member of the rival gang known to be operating on the Islington estate.
Six other members of the 20 person gang who attacked Mr Jaipaul were previously sentenced to between nine and 18 years.
Two others were convicted of conspiracy to commit grievous bodily harm and jailed for between five and seven years.
